Via a news teleconference earlier today, high-ranking Union officials announced the first Union-wide change since the departure of the Virtual Adepts.  Effective immediately, the study of Entropy is to be divided into two, separate, full-fledged fields of study.
Probability Mechanics will cover the study of statistical probabilities, scientific manipulation thereof and various other probability-related fields.  Entropy will cover the Thermodynamic concept of entropy, and the associated fields of death, decay and so on.
Any Union personnel with questions about the split should speak with their immediate Supervisor for further information regarding how the split affects them.

20080221Recent rumors spread through the Southwestern United States region of operation regarding Erg Cola, and a tendency to make agents ill by virtue of shoddy production methods have been debunked.  The Union owes its thanks to Amalgam PC-2348-002C for their efforts in seeking out the source of these rumors:  A cabal of Virtual Adepts operating out of San Diego.  They had managed to intercept several shipments of the highly-favored beverage on their way to local fronts and contaminate them with an aggressive biological agent.
Amalgam OC-2348-002C reported that the Virtual Adepts acted as an anarchist cell.  Additionally, the Amalgam reports that this cell will no longer threaten the Union's operations in the Southwest.
